Work Health and Safety Policy

"SGEPL considers the health, safety and welfare of its employees, clients and third parties connected with its business to be of paramount importance. The company aims to achieve zero lost time accidents and SGEPL is committed to the continuous review and improvement of its health and safety performance."

  • SGEPL Commitment:
    • SGEPL will provide and maintain a safe, healthy working environment for its employees, clients and others who may be affected by its business and processes
    • SGEPL will embed into all its operations a goal of zero injuries
    • SGEPL will ensure that all its entities operate in compliance with local health and safety laws, regulations and standards
  • In order to meet these commitments, SGEPL will, as far as it is reasonably practicable to do so:
    • Provide the necessary information, advice and resources to ensure that employees are adequately trained and understand their personal responsibility for their own safety and safety of others
    • Ensure that work related incidents are recorded, reported and investigated and that where necessary, preventive action is taken
    • Ensure that equipment provided by the company, or on its behalf, is fit for its intended purpose
    • Ensure that all employees are aware of this policy and that it is referenced during induction and training processes
    • Develop a high level of health and safety awareness amongst employees and ensure that safe working practices are adopted at all sites and places
    • Monitor and openly report on our health and safety performance
    • Audit the implementation of this policy
    • It is expected that where a local health and safety policy already exits, it should be reviewed to ensure that its contents are in accordance with this Group policy and in compliance with local health and safety laws, regulations and standards.
    • Where there is no local policy, this Group Policy will be adopted and published into the local language, where necessary.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Responsibility for the health and safety of our people and activities lies with line management along with the individual employees. All incidents will be recorded and reported to the designated Country Health and Safety Representative who will then report through to SGEPL as well as respective Country Line Management.
    • This policy statement has complete support of the Board of Directors and the management team of SGEPL.

Quality Policy

"The service provided by SGEPL is focused on meeting the needs and demands of our clients in a sustainable way, by providing support infrastructures and Telecommunications services to Operators, Broadcasters, Public Administrative Bodies and Corporations within the sector, promoting satisfaction and building the mutual respect of our collaborators."

  • The Quality Objectives are coherent with this Policy and are in line with the Company's processes model. They are reviewed on an annual basis by the Management and updated in accordance with the development of SGEPL and its environment, with the aim of continuously improving our activities.
  • Our staff are equipped with the material resources, continuous training in both skills and technology, and the development processes required to identify individual needs, in accordance with this policy and with the aim of achieving business objectives.
  • Compliance with the applicable legal and regulatory standards (national, regional and local) as well as a willingness to adapt to future standards, clients' demands and social requirements, is a commitment and responsibility shared by all.
  • Suppliers and subcontractors to SGEPL are also part of this Quality Policy, with the mutual aim of creating a working environment which allows us to achieve the highest levels of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • The Management undertakes to periodically review the Quality Policy, adapting it to respond to any new organizational, environmental and market requirements which may arise, as well as informing the organization about the policy and making it available to stakeholders at all times.

Environmental Policy

SG ENCON PVT LTD. is committed to providing a quality service in a manner that ensures a safe and healthy workplace for our employees and minimises our potential impact on the environment. We will operate in compliance with all relevant environmental legislation and we will strive to use pollution prevention and environmental best practices in all we do.

Our Policy therefore, is to :

  • Integrate the consideration of environmental concerns and impacts into our decision making and activities, Minimise our waste and then reuse or recycle as much of it as is possible.
  • Minimise energy and water use within our buildings and processes in order to conserve supplies and minimise the consumption of natural resources.
  • As far as is possible, purchase products and services that do the least damage to the environment.
  • Train, educate and inform our employees about environmental issues that may affect their work.
  • Promote environmental awareness among our employees and encourage them to work in an environmentally responsible manner.
  • Communicate our environmental commitment to clients, customers and the public and encourage them to support it.
  • Where required by legislation or where significant health, safety or environmental hazards exist, develop and maintain appropriate emergency and spill response programmes.
